Password recovery

Allows users registered in the system to regain access to their account if they have forgotten their current password.

Steps to follow:

  1. Access the home page:
  2. Click on "Recover password":
    • Once on the home page, locate the "Recover password" button and click on it.
  3. Complete the password recovery form:
    • In the password recovery modal, you will see a form. Fill in the required fields:
      • Email: Enter the email address registered in the system.
  4. Submit the form:
    • Once you have entered the email, look for the "Submit" button and click on it.
  5. Check your email:
    • Open your email and look for a CheckOp message, you should find a password reset email.
    • Copy the temporary password sent to you.
  6. Log in:
    • Open your browser and type in the URL of the application.
    • Enter your email address.
    • Enter the temporary password sent.
    • Click on the "Login" button.
  7. Change temporary password:
    • Enter the temporary password sent in the "Current Password" field.
    • Enter a new password in the "New Password" field.
    • Confirm the newly assigned password in the "Confirm Password" field.
    • Click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom.

If the password change is effective, you will see the success message "Changes were successfully saved" and you will be able to interact with the system as normal.
If there are any errors (for example, if the email is not registered), you will see an error message.
